CAMP RED

Many of the worlds biggest Movies, TV shows, Commercials and Music videos are shot on RED cameras. Now Campers ages 9 to 16 can experience shooting with the same cameras that shot Peter Jackson's The Hobbit and Katy Perry: Part of Me.

RED cameras are used every day to shoot celebrities like Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, and Pink and Nickelodeon and ABC Family shows like Big Time Rush and Pretty Little Liars. Campers will be using those very same cameras and learning every step of the production and post-production process in the same way that Hollywood Professionals do.

Kids will learn with top industry talent, that are taking time off from their regular work on big movies and TV shows to spend some summer fun teaching at RED studios.

SHOOT WITH GEAR THE PROS USE

Camp RED offers a hybrid of education and fun; campers will learn the magic of movie-making while participating in the every-day activities of an exciting, care-free summer camp, all while shooting on the same 5k RED EPIC cameras that Peter Jackson used on The Hobbit —- and even in 3D!

Campers will shoot on RED EPIC and SCARLET cameras, edit their work with professional editing tools and see their finished work on the big screen! Campers will literally be on the cutting edge of the movie business, using the most advanced tools out there to make and screen their work. The technology they will use is what many people in the movie and TV business dream of working with!

FILM FESTIVAL

At the end of the session the Camp RED Film Festival will host family, friends, and industry professionals for a special screening of the campers' projects at RED Studios. This is the real deal... Making movies just like those working on the biggest productions on the planet right now.
