RED ONE

The RED ONE, first offering from RED Digital Cinema, entered the scene and began shipping in August of 2007. Intent on breaking the rules of convention, the RED ONE pioneered resolution thought to be impossible, at a price point most considered a fantasy, and proceeded to turn the world of motion pictures upside down. In the short time since its introduction, the RED ONE has come to dominate television commercial production and owns the world of music videos. Literally thousands of films have been shot with this digital cinema icon and with each feature advance, made possible by free firmware upgrades, the RED ONE has become the benchmark for quality and value.

EPIC

EPIC is the realization of a dream, the dream to provide the world with a true digital successor to film. Boasting 5K resolution, six times the resolution of HD video, and up to 120 frame per second shooting rates, in a package small enough to be handheld and at a fraction of the cost that anything that it competes with, EPIC is the motion picture camera of the future. The product of years of research and development by the world's leading engineers, EPIC represents the state-of-the-art in digital acquisition and positions RED as one of the world leaders in sensor design. Built upon the enormous success of the company's first camera, the RED ONE, EPIC represents the culmination of an effort to produce the world's best camera, as at home in the still photographer's world as it is in the motion picture world. Based on the concept of DSMC (Digital Still & Motion Camera) EPIC provides a camera with a 14MP sensor capable of shooting from one frame to 120 frames per second. Blurred forever is the line dividing still and motion.

SCARLET-X

Scarlet-X is arguably the most anticipated camera in history. With an array of features ranging from HDRx to interchangeable Canon EF/PL mounts, Scarlet’s compact design and price point represents a democratization of superlative imaging technology for cinema and photo professionals. Scarlet-X takes advantage of the cutting-edge ability to capture photos and motion simultaneously, using DSMC (Digital Still & Motion Camera) technology to enhance productivity in the field.
