RED Congratulates 2014 Emmy Nominees
July 11th, 2014

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced their nominees for the 66th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Six series shot on RED received nominations this year—Bonnie & Clyde, Mob City, The Spoils of Babylon, The Originals, Justified, and returning winner House of Cards.

Netflix Original Series House of Cards (executive producer, David Fincher) returns to the Emmys this year with 13 nominations. Last year House of Cards broke new ground as the first digital series to ever receive an Emmy nomination and came away with the award for "Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series". The series, shot entirely on RED, has been nominated for Outstanding Cinematography again, and was also nominated for "Outstanding Drama Series".

The A&E Networks' docudrama Bonnie & Clyde received nominations in four categories, including Outstanding Miniseries, while Frank Darabont's neo-noir police procedural Mob City pulled in three nominations.

RED congratulates this years' nominees and wishes them the best in their respective categories. The Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on NBC August 25, 2014 at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT.
