RED Congratulates 2017 Emmy Nominees

This morning, the Television Academy announced this year's Emmy Award nominees. RED is pleased to support many of the programs nominated in the 69th Annual Emmy Awards.

Productions nominated in the Outstanding Cinematography categories that shoot on RED include: Mr. Robot and Stranger Things in the Outstanding Cinematography For A Single-Camera Series (One Hour) category, Black Mirror and The Young Pope for Outstanding Cinematography For A Limited Series or Movie, as well as Chef's Table and Planet Earth II in the Outstanding Cinematography For A Nonfiction Program category.

Better Call Saul, House of Cards, and Stranger Things were all nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, while Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt received a nomination in the Outstanding Comedy Series category. Drunk History received its third consecutive nomination for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series, and both Chef's Table and Planet Earth II were recognized for their achievements in the Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series category. Netflix's Black Mirror also received a nomination for Outstanding Television Movie.

In all, 69 Emmy nominations were awarded to 13 programs that include RED as an integral part of their production. RED congratulates all of the nominees on their accomplishments and wishes them the best of luck in their respective categories. Winners of the Outstanding Cinematography categories will be announced during the 69th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, scheduled for broadcast on FXX on September 16th, with the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony airing September 17th at 8pm EDT/5pm PDT on CBS.
