Optimized for the 6K RED DRAGON® sensor, this product is designed to accelerate the process of your R3D workflow, regardless of resolution. Using Dual DisplayPort + Dual HD-SDI 1.5G/3G for video output, RED ROCKET-X provides real time 4K playback directly to your 4K display or projector.

Compared to the previous RED ROCKET, RED ROCKET-X processes and transcodes files up to 5x faster. The RED ROCKET-X supports Stereo 3D video output. A redesigned chassis works to protect the card, which uses a Full-length PCI-e x16 requiring external 6-pin (75W) PCI-e power for installation in your Mac or PC. The new RED ROCKET-X no longer requires or supports the Breakout Box.

RED ROCKET™ is the original solution for realtime 4K RGB playback and realtime R3D™ transcoding. Decode and debayer 4K R3D™ files in realtime, decode 5K files, hyper-accelerate transcoding to any system codec.

In addition, play full quality realtime 4K to 4K monitor or projector from DVI output (requires RED BREAKOUT BOX). Play full quality 2K/1080P scaled from 4K footage out the Dual Link HD-SDI from RED Rocket card. Downscale 4K footage to full quality 2K and play through your system graphics card and monitor.
