The RED® Lens Control Motor is a robust, high-performance motor that is ideal for low profile lens control systems. The medium torque motor is lightweight and supports tool-free, interchangeable, magnetic-locking gears—for nearly agnostic lens support. It is also equipped with a 300° rotating connector that pivots and locks for optimum cable management.
A rigid and adaptable quick-clamp mounting bracket engages with dual dovetail mounting slots on the RED Lens Control Motor, providing convenient and adjustable configuration options for 19mm or 15mm rail systems. The quick-clamps allow you to easily add and remove motors without requiring you to remove matte box components or other motors.
The RED Lens Control Motor is the ideal solution for most lens control systems. The RED Lens Control Motor is compatible with many third-party motor drivers when using the appropriate RED motor cable.
NOTE: ALWAYS use the RED motor cable with the appropriate internal identification resistor when using RED Lens Control Motors with third-party motor drivers. Any damage caused to motors or motor drivers resulting from the use of third-party cables will not be covered under warranty.
