Take flight with Colby Raha, Ty Evans, Helinet, and RED. The V‑RAPTOR [X] Z Mount gets put to the test in the desert and the sky as Ty captures Colby sending it at his private training facility: RahVille.

Shot at Colby Raha’s legendary RahaVille, Airborne is a full-send visual experience that fuses moto chaos with cinematic precision. It's pure movement and light—no script, no safety net, just throttle, dust, and the shot.

Led by visionary director and longtime RED shooter Ty Evans, the crew captured every whip, jump, and golden-hour moment using the V‑RAPTOR [X] with Z Mount. With multiple shooters on set and a dynamic mix of ground and aerial coverage, the team leaned into RED’s advanced tech for its ultimate lens flexibility, global shutter, and dynamic range to bring the sun-drenched action to life.

Behind the Look | ON-SET

When Colby Raha opens the gates to RahVille, you bring your A-game—and your best gear. Ty Evans did both, capturing Airborne with the V‑RAPTOR [X] Z Mount and KOMODO‑X Z Mount, using Nikkor glass to chase every whip, wheelie, and golden-hour dust cloud in bold, cinematic detail.

It’s fast, it’s wild, and every frame is a flex—for both the bike and the camera.

Evans turned to the V‑RAPTOR [X] with Z Mount to bring the chaos into focus—shooting at insane speeds, tracking wild whips and wheelies, and locking in every dirt-flinging detail with precision. The global shutter was clutch, freezing fast action without the warping or blur. And the Z Mount’s lens flexibility meant Evans could swap between ultra-wides for chase shots and long zooms for those jaw-dropping landings—without sacrificing image quality or speed.

The real kicker? Dynamic range. Sun-blasted skies, shaded berms, golden-hour dust clouds—Evans captured it all in bold, cinematic detail. No blown highlights. No crushed blacks. Just clean, rich image data ready to be pushed in post.

Because storytelling, like riding, is all about knowing when to send it.
