MODULAR DESIGN

RED ONE™ has a modular design that easily accepts upgrades in hardware, software, storage, handling and monitoring accessories. Grow the camera with RED-CAGE™ configuration (above) for Studio shooting or Crane mount, and add and bolt accessories to your hearts content. The RED ONE™ camera has numerous stainless steel mounting points on the body to allow hundreds of optional RED and third party accessories... some that haven't even been dreamed of yet.

RED-RAIL™

With any tripod mounted or handheld system, balance is the key... The RED-RAIL™ system takes full advantage of this by allowing weight to be easily distributed closer into the camera body or further away. Using the weight of the Digital Magazine and Battery on the extending rail system, you can counterbalance the weight of different lenses and accessories to match the desired balance point for optimal shooting. The RED-RAIL™ system takes the shoulder mount to the next level, with infinite flexibility.

FLEXIBILITY IS THE KEY

Flexibility is the key to the RED ONE™ concept... Shoot lightweight ENG style (only 10 lbs., in rugged aluminum alloy) or load it up to shoot a feature film. Configure for tripod, crane or long lens applications. The onboard RED LCD or external high-resolution RED EVF come equipped with advanced tools for framing, exposure and focus.
