Advanced RED codec technology generates feature length 4K files small enough to fit on a USB flash drive. With a compressed data rate under 2.5MB/s, you can deliver your 4K content worldwide via OTT media networks at remarkably low cost and high efficiency. There is nothing like a true 4K 3D experience and REDRAY delivers with playback of 3D media at up to 60 fps per eye in 4K. Whether in a home theater or at the office, REDRAY’s flexible HDMI 1.4 connectors let you leverage the latest 3D and 4K LCD flat panel and projection display technologies.
Digital signage leads the future of advertising and REDRAY serves as the perfect distribution platform. Each REDRAY is capable of synchronized video playback to four 1080p displays or two 4K display panels; which may be arranged in any physical configuration. Multiple REDRAY players can be genlocked together to serve large video wall applications, letting nothing stand between you and a lasting visual impact.
Connect and control your REDRAY player using the included infrared remote or the REDRAY iOS application and REDRAY’s 802.11n wireless connection. You can use either device as an interactive remote to browse, select, and play content stored on your REDRAY player. Gigabit Ethernet ports support system automation and hard-wired GPIO triggers to contribute to overall connectivity options.
When it comes to watching your favorite content, audio fidelity is as essential as image quality. REDRAY delivers with 7.1 channels of pristine quality 24-bit 48 KHz audio, providing you a holistic cinematic package. Simply plug into your AV receiver via an HDMI cable and immerse yourself in an experience you can see, hear and feel.
Each REDRAY player contains 1TB of available internal storage, capable of holding over 100 hours of 4K media. If you need more space, REDRAY features flexible storage options to securely archive your media including external USB drive, high capacity e-SATA based RAID storage or an Ethernet based NAS system.
