REDMINI-MAG 960GB V3 Firmware April 15, 2019
IMPORTANT:
- Offload any data from the MINI-MAG before you upgrade it.
- You must format your MINI-MAG before and after you upgrade it.
Upgrade REDMINI-MAG 960GB Firmware
NOTE: Offload any data from the MINI-MAG before you upgrade it.
1. Power up the camera, insert the REDMINI-MAG 960GB and format the MINI-MAG.
2. Properly eject the MINI-MAG from the camera.
3. Connect the MINI-MAG to your computer.
4. Unzip the file.
5. Copy the .rmf file to the top level of the MINI-MAG directory.
6. Eject or unmount the MINI-MAG, and then remove the MINI-MAG.
7. Insert the MINI-MAG with .rmf file into your camera and verify the MINI-MAG mounts properly.
8. Go to Menu > Settings > Maintenance > Upgrade > Media.
9. Select ‘Yes’ and verify that the operation completes without error.
10. Remove the MINI-MAG from the camera as instructed by the on-screen instructions.
11. Re-insert the MINI-MAG into the camera.
12. Go to Menu > Settings > Maintenance > System Status > Media Info and verify that the Media Firmware Revision is 0301-000.
13. Format the MINI-MAG before use.

Upgrade REDMINI-MAG 960GB Firmware
NOTE: The REDMINI-MAG 960GB requires that your camera is on firmware v6.3.75 or later.

1. Power up the camera, insert the REDMINI-MAG 960GB and format the MINI-MAG.
2. Properly eject the MINI-MAG from the camera.
3. Connect the MINI-MAG to your computer.
4. Unzip the file.
5. Copy the .rmf file to the top level of the MINI-MAG directory.
6. Eject or unmount the MINI-MAG, and then remove the MINI-MAG.
7. Insert the MINI-MAG with .rmf file into your camera and verify the MINI-MAG mounts properly.
8. Go to Menu > Settings > Maintenance > Upgrade > Media.
9. Select ‘Yes’ and verify that the operation completes without error.
10. Remove the MINI-MAG from the camera as instructed by the on-screen instructions.
11. Re-insert the MINI-MAG into the camera.
12. Go to Menu > Settings > Maintenance > System Status > Media Info and verify that the Media Firmware Revision is 0929-000.
