REDMOTE v9.7.13 Firmware June 1, 2017
IMPORTANT:
- Please use the updated installers in the DSMC Resources package (Mac and Windows)
- Camera Firmware v5.3.x or later is required to be functional.
Installation Instructions:
- Windows instructions for manual network setup
– Open Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties for the REDmote connection (RNDIS Gadget)
– Select ‘Use the following IP Address’ and enter 192.168.0.1 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0. Click OK.
– Click OK to apply and exit Network Properties.
– Disconnect REDMOTE from the PC and wait 5 seconds.
– Reconnect REDMOTE to the USB Port and wait for Network to indicate connection
– Complete the REDMOTE Upgrade
– Restore the DHCP setting for the Network Connection after upgrade is complete
– Open Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) properties for the REDmote Connection (RNDIS Gadget)
– Select ‘Obtain an IP Address Automatically’ and select OK.
– Select Close to exit Network Properties.
– Disconnect REDMOTE from the PC
– Upgrade and system configuration is complete - Mac instructions for manual network setup
– Go to your Network and find the device titled RNDIS/Gadget.
– Select ‘Manually’, enter IP address 192.168.0.1 and Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 and click Apply.
– Start REDmote Upgrade Utility and upgrade.
– Restore the DHCP setting after the upgrade is complete.
– Go to your Network and find the device titled RNDIS/Gadget.
– Select ‘Using DHCP’ and click Apply
– Upgrade and system configuration is complete - Contact RED if you are unable to connect using the manual instructions (http://www.red.com/contact_us).
Significant changes since previous build v9.7.12:
- Added proxy recording baked-in settings support
- Added per monitor LUT parameters support
