Engadget sat down with RED's main mouthpiece Ted Schilowitz for an interview that touched on the entire history of RED before focusing on the Scarlet -- "probably the geekiest camera of them all."

"If you look around CES, this seems to be clearly the year of 4K. And if you think about what is the real viable cameras that can achieve that resolution, there's essentially RED and... RED right now."
