"On Sunday, April 15th, more than 1200 Redusers gathered poolside to kick off NAB 2012. Guests admired a variety of 4K displays. Each display showcased the top ten finalists of the 4K Portrait Competition. This "living gallery" of quality content from the REDuser community demonstrated the viability of global 4K acquisition and exhibition. The top three finalists of the 4K Portrait Competition were announced on stage during the Keynote Address by Light Iron CEO Michael Cioni. Each received prize packages generously donated by the event's sponsors, including many items that were to be unveiled on the show floor of NAB that week. Ted Schilowitz and Jim Jannard also addressed the REDuser community before the party continued back at the pool."
